Back to Routine Life

An amazing experience at Kabini was short lived.

Thick Woods

23 hours of fun, listening to hilarious experiences, spotting the weirdest of birds and animals.

An elephant is called a Tusker in the wild and wild dogs hunt and eat even when the animal is alive. Turtle, Tusker, Wild dogs, White Breasted Kingfisher and a Woodpecker is something that I could capture with my camera.

The freaking Leopard was a good spotting, only if he would have been near!

March-April - Kabini, here I come once again!

Elaborated report coming up soon, drowned with a lot of work!

Off for the Weekend!

I will be on my way to Kabini in the next 5 hours.
The beautiful roads, the smell of wet soil, the green paddy fields and the hopefully blue skies...

Off for the Weekend!

Have a great Weekend!

Courage

Sunday morning, I wake up and pack my gears and I am on my way to Hasseraghatta to visit Nrityagram. Its been a long time since I wanted to capture images here. Well, it turned out to be that the dancers were on a long break and were in no shape and didn't wanted to be photographed.

On my way back home, it started raining and there goes my last chances of any photography. I had a couple of friends with me who were to shoot a drawing competition at a park in Bangalore. I wasn't interested at all, but something kept me waiting with them. The rain stopped and we reached the park and I was taken by surprise.

Well, it sure was a drawing competition held by Association of People with Disability. For a very long time I wasn't responding to anything. I was hit, until a lady asked me to help carry a wheelchair down the steps.

What shook me up was the courage, the enthusiasm and energy each child had. They just went on drawing on sheets after sheets. There was nothing that could stop them.
What I witnessed cannot be described by words, it can only be felt. I leave you with some moments that I captured at APD and these would last as memories forever.

Still Lost Talking Silently Perfection

Akash's hands don't function, he gets exhausted extremely fast, but it just didn't stop him what he likes the most; Painting! And he does it with his feet.
Aakash

What I noticed here was the amount of courage every single person involved with APD had. Teachers drawing on sheets for those who couldnt draw but could color, students from Chitra Kala Parishath making paintings non stop, as much as they could and in all the buzz, excitement... you could also hear parents talking to their son and daughters, tears rolling down looking at their picture and saying "my kid did this drawing"

It takes courage to be anyone of them - be it a teacher, a student or a parent. We all dream, it only takes courage to full fill them.

More photographs from APD on my Photostream

From a passive existence to a meaningful life.
From days and nights of empty hours to an enriching lifestyle.
This is the aspiration of every child and adult living with disability.

Wet September

Looked like Autumn had set it, but the rain gods just wont go away!
It has been a wet September and so does October continue to be.

Monsoons certainly not gone!

Waiting for Autumn...!

Autumn! Just round the corner...

The Promise

Come September, Autumn time... and it brings a smile to my face.
It's the most giving of all the seasons.

The northern breeze that sweeps things up, adds colors, and adds sway to my photography. The leaves that saturate themselves leave me no need for post-processing. The brisk days that make it a joy to be outside all day long, catching festivals, and family gatherings without the oppression of heat and humidity. The foggy mornings... yes those wonderful foggy mornings that make every passing day look beautiful.

Downtown Denver

I get the feeling it's just around the corner... may be I'll just take a nap and when I wake up, it would have arrived.

*sigh, missing Denver!

Photo Walk

My first time to a Photo walk. A World Wide Photo Walk and some photography after a very long time. Just couldn't wait for the day to come.

Residency Road, now known as Field Marshal Cariappa road, stretches from Mayo Hall to Bangalore Club. Starting from Mayo Hall at 8 AM in the morning, was a very different sight of Residency Road.

Field Marshal Cariappa Road

From Sweepers cleaning the road, people setting up their flower stores, beauticians waiting to open their beauty store to someone sitting in front of closed shops and lots in thoughts.  What I realized the number of buildings being constructed on this Road and the number of sky scrappers that have come up on this road. I passed by this road every single day for 4 months and never realized them.

Is it that time flies or we have just got too busy with ourselves?

Quick Shoot - Manchanbele

Its been a while since I am back to India, but very little Photography.
A half day trip to Kokkare Bellur and that's it.

Well Manchanbele wasn't far enough and it was a boring Sunday to kill. With very little time for the sun to go down, I was off to Manchanbele with Karthik (CEO at Unplugged India)

I remember my earlier trip to Manchanbele, early morning and what a day it was. Manchanbele, a beautiful place on the outskirts of Bangalore city, about 30 kms. You can find here loads of Kites, Eagle and Brahmini Kite. Some place to capture good action; and by action I mean

Image #4 [No...! You are not taking that away from me this time!]

Beautiful landscapes around the river and the serene atmosphere makes you feel like staying that extra minute.  A Beautiful evening at Manchanbele makes your day complete.

Kokkare Bellur

An early morning ride to Kokkare Bellur with RTMC India was amazing. The noice of the Enfield echoed for many miles till all settled at the destination Kokkare Bellur. Kokkare Bellur (Village of Storks), a small village off the main highway between Bangalore and , is one of the few nesting sites in India of the spotbilled pelican. In addition, it is also home to hundreds of painted storks. The best time to see the pelicans is in December and January. The place is not a sanctuary, and the storks and pelicans live freely in the trees in the middle of village and are quite used to their human neighbors.

Well it turned out that I didnt visit Kokkare Bellur during the best time, however the green fileds were a beautiful sight in the village of Stoks with spotbilled pelicans flying above your head.

Children of Kokkre Bellur gave me and my camera some hard time, but it was a joy to capture their moments. Energetic, shouting, smiling, acting... :)

Thanks Adarsh for the wonder ful trip!

A mishap on the way back to Bangalore left me with a few bruises!

17 Mile Drive

Del Monte Forest, majestic serene and truly a nature's treasure box. A scenic 17 mile drive on Pebble Beach is home to The Lone Cypress, Seals and Birds, Rocks, Fan shell Beach and the amazing colliding currents of the Restless Sea.

The Lone Cyprus

One of the most memorable drives I have had for a long time, Black Cormorants, Brown Pelicans, California Sea Otters, Harbor Seals and ideal Sea Lions all in their natural Habitat. Colorful wildflowers dot the scene, adoring the cool, soothing hues of the seashore and well preserved dunes capes.

paradise

Along the way, you'll encounter the emerald fairways of such famous golf courses as The Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill and the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links.

A perfect destination for a one day outing. Aquarium at the City of Monterey Bay (experience the amazing collection of jelly fish), followed by a good tuna fish sandwich on the way to 17 Mile Drive and a good shopping experience at the city of Monterey bay!

Jelly Fishes at display

Thanks Suchi for the wonderful day!

one visit - 4 time zones

Its been really long since I shared my one of a kind experience. Taking a break after almost 4 years was a breather. December 22nd to January 2nd was a good long break but not enough to visit places in the US of A.

So, I had a look at my itenary one last time at the airport and it read Denver - San Francisco (via Las Vegas) - Tulsa (via Dallas) - San Francisco (via Dallas) - Las Vegas (road trip) - Los Angeles - San Francisco - Denver - Orlando - Ocala (road trip) - Denver (via Chicago). Interesting isnt it? Well out of the 10 days, a one day was being spent waiting at the airport, a day in sitting in an airplane and about a day and a half driving.

San Francisco; I never got a day to stay there, I could only spend 2 nights and the only thing I did was either ate or slept.

I never expected my journey to be eventful, but it turned out to be a one of a kind. Leaving Denver at 6 PM I was supposed to reach San Francisco by about 9 PM with a plane change at Las Vegas. Well the weather at Kansas City made sure my plan was late by 2 hours! At the end, I had about 15 mins to catch my connecting flight form Las Vegas to San Francisco. Well I was put on to a flight from Denver to Oakland where I would get a BART to SF International Airport. No clue what BART is supposed to be I landed at Oakland at about 8:30 PM. Now the task was to find out what BART was. I have got the strangest look when I enquired about BART and I got an answer "Bay Area Rapid Transport". So a journey began from Oakland to SFO - Catch a BART bus from Oakland International Airport to one of the BART stations and I was under the impression BART was a bus service. At BART station I managed to figure out that I need to catch a BART on the D Line. Hmm interesting, now what the hell is a D Line. Well lucky me, BART stations are equipped with Electric signs which displays the time remaining for every BART train and on what Line. So now I had one more journey to cover since, Oakland to SFO is a good 2 hour long distance.

Clueless of whats on the card next, I managed somehow to reach SFO and what a relief when I met my sister, after a good 3 year gap. Well as usual, I lost my baggage and didnt bother to ask more about it, just headed home. 12:30 AM and I was hungry, and the best place at this time of the hour is IHOP - International House of Pancakes.

Trivia - IHOP servers more than 700 million pancakes a year.

Next day, its time for me to go to Tulsa and I have absolutely no clue about my baggage. 2 hours before boarding the flight, we get a call, saying my Baggage arrived at SFO, so a quick peek at the baggage center and than rushed towards boarding our flight to Tulsa via Dallas. 5 minutes before boardin the plan, we realized, the flight is delayed by about 25 mins. So now its time for some food again and it was turn for some Mexican Bean Buritto at Chippotle.

A good 4 hour flight to Tulsa via Dallas, rather an un-eventful journey. A family get togather at Tulsa and we were done in 2 days. And it was back to SFO via Dallas again. Nothing major to shoot in Oklahama, since its a flat state wiht absoutely nothing, but I managed to shoot a few pictures at Keystone Lake, Manford which is right behind my uncle's backyard.

Trivia - Keystone Lake is an artificial lake in northeastern Oklahoma on the Arkansas and Cimarron Rivers

Now it was time for some fun. My next destination on the list was Las Vegas. We rented a Ford Edge (SUV) and were off to Las Vegas on Interstate 5 - with not so happening views. Probably this was the only time I spent at SF and I really feel because I had not captured anything in one of the most beautiful cities in the USA. Well got some off the road trip.

So it was sleeping time and in about 8 hours we were at Las Vegas. A city in itself. A completely different world all togather, where apart from doing drugs almost everything is legal.

Trivia - Las Vegas experiences about 2 million floating population a day. Las Vegas International Airport is the 5th busiest airport in the USA. I will run out of space writing about Las Vegas.

The biggest mistake was not to get warm clothes and forget my shoes. I had been to every part of Las Vegas including hotels, casinos, shows in my very own slip ons. An amazing experience I would say! Well some good memories at Las Vegas though.

Feels like Paris City of Lights

So now it was back to LA, however via HOOVER DAM. Hoover Dam, also known as Boulder Dam, is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River, on the border between the U.S. states of Arizona and Nevada. The dam, located 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas, is named after Herbert Hoover, who played an instrumental role in its construction, first as Secretary of Commerce and then later as President of the United States. Construction began in 1931 and was completed in 1935, more than two years ahead of schedule. The dam and the power plant are operated by the Bureau of Reclamation of the U.S. Department of the Interior. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981, Hoover Dam was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1985.

power machines

On the way to Hoover Dam, I happen to see something that really excited me. A chopper ride over Lake Mead or Hoover Dam. Now this was my chance to do some kite aerial photography and what a subject - the hoover dam. Well everything comes with a price though. A 2 minute over Lake Mead would cost you $60 and a 5 min ride over Hoover Dam about $150. Well I just had an expereince over Lake Mead.

In Perfect Harmony

Now the next destination was LA. Once again, a very unique city, always covered with SMOG but people in LA says aah, what a clear day. Dont understand why they dont see the smog. A good trip to Universal Studio and the Getty Center was an experience. LA has a lot to offer, a lot of places to visit and spend time at. Nt much time and had to cut short the trip.

Sail Along

So it was time to get back to SF and this time on El Camino Real (The Royal road) - Highway 101. One of the most beautiful highways in USA as it runs over the west coast. Well the timing was not good, it was too sunnny, but just managed to get one good snap. Next time I would intend to get more for sure.

reflections

Well I did visit Florida and Ocala, but was more of a family trip and covered in 2 days. Dint go anywhere just watched TV, ATE and slept.

It was a fun filled vacation for 10 days, a long one, but a rather short one. And I was lucky enough to be in 4 times zones in a span of 10 days!

some memories never die

January 26th, 2001
Ahmedabad

Early morning 7:00 AM, and I was really excited about that particular day. The simple reason being I had just recovered from my broken and dismantled ankle and was allowed to play cricket after a long break of 6 months. And 26th January being a public holiday, there is just one thing to do. A cricket match at the maidans. In the excitement of play didn’t sleep well all night and was there at sharp 7:00 AM. I just could not wait for the match to start and take the bat in my hands. Yes I was a bit nervous because I was playing after 6 months and I really didn’t know how I would play that first ball being bowled to me. Being a friendly match, the umpires are from the respective teams so my friend was watching me play. I could feel the adrenalin rushing from my stomach till my throat as the ball came nearer to me. I played, and missed. Man I never was so nervous in life. I played a couple of balls and then got into my normal mood of scoring runs. After some time, I was tired, exhausted, I was out of match practice. I was at the other end of the batting side, talking to my friend (he was umpiring), and suddenly I felt so uneasy. I felt giddy and shivers running from my feet till my throat. I immediately turned to my friend and said, “Man, I am not feeling well, I don’t think I will be able to continue”. He replied, “Vandan, me too!” And I just gave him a smile thinking he is just kidding as usual. However back of my mind I was thinking what was happening to me. I could not even imagine in my wildest dreams what was coming and what we were going to experience. All this happened in I would say fraction of seconds and I could hear a huge roar coming beneath the ground as if thousand army tanks rolling in the war field. I felt as if the earth is just going to tear apart and something that is trapped within it is just going to come out whizzing. With all the ground shaking I was struggling even to stand and when I saw up, I could see the building swing likes swinging towers, and the vehicles parked moving up and down as if you were sitting on a roller coaster ride. After about 2 minutes it all settled down. And all of us who were running here and there got together. No one of us there could even utter a word; we just didn’t know how to react to the situation. After a long silence I spoke, “it’s just a small earthquake I think, let’s get on with game, we will see this news tomorrow in the newspaper. And I think we all are the lucky ones to experience it this way”. Man I was so desperate to play that day.

I was at the safest place to be during an earthquake. I finished the match, satisfied after playing for a long time and now ready to go home and crash; and not only me but no one among us was unaware of what we are going to experience.

I dropped my friend and on our way, we saw each and every person in the city outside their homes. It’s strange that how we reach to the smallest of things in life; all are out talking, discussing giving scientific reason even though you have no clue about the subject. “It was just a small earthquake I exclaimed and what’s the big fuss about it”.

We reached my friends place and her mother came running towards him and just hugged him. I was surprised to see that, and I am still clueless on what’s going on. Both of us quite surprised, looked at her and she said, “Vandan its better you go home as soon as possible”. I still have no clue on what has actually happened and I still was pretty sure that people are just over reacting. My friend calls me on my cell and on receiving I hear “Are you alright? Where are you?”
Listening to her voice made me think again but I just ignored thinking, people are seriously over reacting.

On my way home, thinking about how people were reacting, I noticed a 10 storied building, on the main road vanished. “Where the hell did that go??” An earthquake of 7.9 on the Richter scale is not a small one. The building had collapsed, sunk right into the ground. All 10 floors of the building just vanished and all that I could see was a pile of dust. This was serious, now I know why people were reacting so vaguely. I just could not wait to get back home. I had goose flesh all over my body and all sorts of imaginations running in my mind. Just could not wait to see my mother.

Home sweet home, standing right there in its place and cracks all over the building. Mom was so relieved seeing me and headed straight for me. Imagine being trapped in a closed room on the top floor and then begin swinging and you have nowhere to go. Indeed I was at the safest place on earth during an earth quake.

No one had words to express the feeling they experienced. No one was in a state to think what to do next. The grief, people were in was tremendous. Every soul in the city, having a house would not want to go in, just because what they experienced was terrifying and what they were seeing around was disturbing. The day went by rather disturbed, but with no clue in mind on what to do next.

I headed for a walk in the evening to see how bad it had got and the only thing I could see was, people just gazing their houses, built with so much care, emotions and dreams. It indeed is one of the prized possession a person can have. But what I was about to witness was even more disturbing. People still trapped under collapsed buildings and government running out of cranes and bull dozers it was up to the people around and their bare hands.

At 2:00 AM, another jolt a tremor and the entire city was back on the streets. Days went by and people spent sleepless nights outside in the bitter cold just to make sure they remain safe. Reconstructions and repairs were going around everywhere in the city, and people still continued to remove debris for survivors. Everywhere we had mixed feelings, feeling of happiness to see survivors fighting as long as 7-8 days, feelings of sorrow having lost their loved ones, they life possession, and some people everything.

People who lost their homes were in relief camps, there was enough food and medication available but not enough warm clothes to cover themselves. Everyone was trying to help in whatever manner they could. Enough help came in forms of coming food and fruits, but not warm clothes. And most important we needed more people who could help remove the debris.

Time went by and people got used to the aftershocks and tremors, and then it was just a matter of time, when everything was normal once again. People of Ahmedabad had experienced the unexpected.

It was heartening to see how much India has achieved in such a short period of time. But the test for everyone will be the next stage - the rehabilitation and rebuilding of hundreds of thousands of homes, schools and hospitals. It will take at least four to five years. And it is not just the bricks and mortar that need to be fixed. We need to implement a programme offering emotional support and crisis counselling for people struggling to cope with the psychological impact of the disaster.

Everybody thought about the people of Gujarat, their recovery and an end to this gloom that prevailed for at least 2 to 3 months. But in Gujarat there was no such collective mood of despair. I didn't meet anyone who thought of themselves as a victim. Maybe it's cultural, maybe it's religious, maybe it's just the way it is, the people have no choice but to get on with things as best they can. But whatever it is that's inside them, fatalism or the belief that their lives are in the hands of a higher spirit, it seems that even if you take everything away, there's still something left: their belief in themselves.

A Moment... worth the Wait!

It's been a busy week. Busy... actually might be an understatement. I have been waiting for the weekend and looking forward to 6 Flags. Early morning, just went to weather.com and checked the weather! And it just got a glitter, smile on my face. It said, 90% chances of Snow on Lakewood.

6 Flags was just amazing, lot of rides, good food, amazing weather and a perfect day!
Well time to go back home and the breeze picked up! The cold was bitter and harsh. We just hoped the train comes soon.

Well back on the way, it started raining and it reminded me of Bangalore, the same humid cold and rain pouring down like its not going to rain forever. Well, home sweet home and it was time to sleep!

Early morning, it was cold and the window panes suddenly started to rattle like some one is pelting hundreds of stones. At first I didn't know how to react, because I was so sleepy, but than I just ran opened the balcony and what I see! It was snowing and it was just Beautiful!

At 32o F, I was in my balcony in my shorts and t-Shirt, enjoying the snow. They gave a small tickle every time a snow flake touched my face. It was so Beautiful, Serene and Magical! Everything just settled before the snow!

A Moment, worth Waiting!

Yes that was my first experience of Snow! A moment for me, worth the wait!

A Moment, worth Waiting!

6 Flags

I had been to an Amusement Park about 6 years back when I went to Malaysia's Genting Highlands! But this took me by surprise!

6 Flags Amusement Park a.k.a. Elitch's Garden was an amazing and beautiful place! Right in the middle of Downtown Denver, 6 Flags is a 70 acre amusement and water park.

Elitch Gardens was a family owned seasonal amusement park, theater, and botanic garden in the West Highland neighborhood of Denver, Colorado at 38th and Tennyson streets. For more than a century Elitch's was one of the most popular entertainment destinations in Colorado. It was nationally known for its lush gardens, the Trocadero Ballroom, the Theatre at the Gardens and the premier wooden roller coaster, Mister Twister. The park moved to downtown Denver in 1994 and later became Six Flags Elitch Gardens. The former location is being redeveloped. In August of 2006, Six Flags sold Elitch Gardens for a reported $170 million dollars.

Mister Twister
Mister Twister opened in 1964. It was a 96-foot (29m) tall wooden coaster, designed by John Allen of Philadelphia Toboggan Company, and advertisements promoted the fact that it didn't "have a foot of straight track". It was regularly rated as one of the top ten rides in the country until it stopped operating in 1994 when the park was relocated. Twister II at the new Elitch Gardens is a significantly tamer coaster modeled after the original.

One feature of Mister Twister was that, after ascending the first hill, the rider was within the line of sight of another coaster, Lakeside's crown jewel 'Cyclone'.

Denver Downtown from Elitch's Garden!
[Shot from Mister Twister while waiting for my Turn!]

This time 6 Flags was different. Beautiful blue skies, and decorated perfectly for Halloween time. Ghosts and Haunted places and skeletons scattered almost everywhere and of course, artists dressed up as Ghosts ran around scaring people!

I couldn't find anything until the sun went down and the place was lit up beautifully with lights all around! At one of the resting points, noticed the sun go down and the lights on the Round Up (merry-go-round) lit up, the American Flag flying high and the beautiful blue sky in the backdrop. Perfect for my Camera!

Flying High, in Glory

All in all a wonderful day, and with some wonderful photographs!

Downtown Denver

A week over in Lakewood, CO and still nothing but 5 shots of Denver Downtown!
Well it was a full moon day and was returning from work when I noticed the moon.

I have never see moon so clear, huge and with such great colors and glow! Well I had something to take pitures of. I was only worred that the moon would not go up and get bright by the time I reach my room!

Well thats what happened. But I wanted to capture the moon and so got a nice shot of it through the trees around the hotel

Cool Night!

Well it was sunday and it was finally time to travel Downtown Denver. Companies with two good friends from work, I was all set for the small but exciting trip. On the way noticed a lot of church and they look so beautiful with the colorful trees!

Beautiful places to live by the foothills of Rocky Mountains!

Small Town, Littleton

Took the RTD (Metro) to Downtown Denver! Well the same old reason, no parking space! So the best possible way is to park at a town nearby and than thake the Metro to Downtown. It was a cold night and I was enjoying every bit of it. Booked our places at a restaurant and than was on the streets of Denver. It was a beautiful place, with almost no vehicles allowed and only the RTD busses running up and down.

need a tiltle

Huge horse cairrages if you want to ride the beautifully lit street and a couple of Scotts playing Bag Pipers!

Bag Pipers!

It was all happening here at Downtown. An experience I would never forget!

Colorado, Home to the Rocky Mountains!

I was having a wonderful and un-disturbed Sunday, when suddenly my cell phone rings and I notice its my CEO! Well no good, but than this turned out to be a wonderful news and I was off to Colorado on Thursday morning 2 AM!

12 hours into the journey and I get my first break to stretch my legs and walk around. Heathrow, London; one of the busiest airports in the world! After about 3 hours I get to board another plane for another 12 hours journey and on my way to Denver, Colorado.

The State of Colorado is a state located in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States of America. Colorado may also be considered to be a part of the Western and Southwestern regions of the United States.

The climate of Colorado is best described as being cool and dry compared to the rest of the United States. While that is generally true throughout most of the state, the climate of Colorado is very complex. The typical south-north/cooler-warmer variation in other states is generally not applicable at all in Colorado. The location of mountain ranges and surrounding valleys affect local climate greatly. As a general rule, with an increase in elevation come a decrease in temperature and an increase in precipitation. A main climatic division in Colorado occurs where the Rocky Mountains begin with the Front Range cities and the plains to the east, the mountains and valleys to the west, and the foothills as a transitional zone in between the two.

Well sounds a bit too complex, however this state has about 350 sunny days and is an absolute Paradise for Photographers! And what best time I could have selected, its Fall time and I have not seen any place as colorful as this.

Lakewood, CO a small town in CO, 15 miles away from Denver! A beautiful city, with few buildings, loads of fast food places, a lot of motels and beautifully surrounded with the Rocky Mountains! No better place I could have thought of staying at!

Well Saturday morning and I am off with my camera to a few near by places to capture Downtown Denver! The beauty of this place is that the air is so clear, wide spaces and everything is huge and I mean every damn thing you can think off!

A City Awakens to a new Day!

Taken from the Simms and Union over pass, it is an amazing view. On one side of the overpass is the city of Denver and on the other side are the beautiful Rocky Mountains. For the first time I feel the urge of missing a Sigma 10-20mm!

Downtown Denver

Well here is what I have as off now with a beautiful cityscape of Denver Downtown.

City Market

Every been to a market before?
The bustling sound of street vendors, the chai wala shouting chai chai and running to shops to deliver the much awaited chai, people pursuing you to buy and buy more, cut throat competition and a perfect place to learn and test your marketing skills.

Sunday evening nothing to do and I was off to Bangalore's very own City Market a.k.a. K.R. Market (I never knew that though). City Marketing is operational thought out the day 24 hours and 7 days a week. As early as 4 AM in the morning vendors from all over gather and start stocking their small shops in the market to as late as midnight, these people just keeping going on and on and there is nothing to stop them.

Shops in City market complex are rented out for people to do business. However since the place is extremely crowded, people tend to buy from vendors on footpath outside city market complex, leaving shop owners angry and disheartened.

Well that does not leave the vendors on footpath to take away all. This being illegal, the vendors too pay 50/- for a small 4 x 4 feet place to do business to the authorities.

For some business was good and specially for the people who deal with flowers. This person in particular was having a bash with Marigold!
Business is good

All said and done and finally I got one shot and which set the tone and true essence of Market.

Bengaluru Mandis
Money does matter!
This is what happens at City Market at the end of every transaction.
